We're recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a leader in the design and installation of bespoke water features. As a Technical Engineer, you’ll be part of a dynamic team that transforms spaces through the power of water – whether it's a grand city installation or a more intimate water feature. You’ll work directly with our Senior Technical Engineer, Service Engineers, and other technical professionals to bring these stunning visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Planning: Collaborate with a talented team to design and plan breathtaking water features that meet both client aspirations and budget requirements.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of hydraulics, fluid dynamics, and water systems to ensure the best selection of equipment and materials for each project.
  • Project Management: Oversee all technical aspects of projects, from the initial concept and design phase to completion, ensuring smooth communication with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure the flawless execution of water feature installations, troubleshooting any technical issues as they arise.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with the latest environmental and safety regulations, ensuring every project complies with industry standards.
  • Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, helping to turn their ideas into reality while offering expert technical guidance.
  • Documentation: Produce and maintain thorough documentation for each project, including technical specifications, proposals, and maintenance manuals.
  • Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by researching and applying the latest technologies and trends in water features to ensure our projects are always cutting-edge.

Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience or qualifications in a relevant engineering or technical field.
  • Experience in water feature design or related disciplines (e.g., hydraulics, fluid dynamics) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and technical design tools.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, health & safety, and quality assurance.
  • A proactive, self-driven approach with excellent communication skills.
  • A team player who can also work independently, managing workloads and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel around London and the South-East for site visits and project supervision.

In return, you’ll receive:

  • A competitive salary with the opportunity for overtime.
  • 20 days holiday per year, increasing to 22 days based on years of service, plus bank holidays.
  • Access to a company pension scheme and other employee incentives.
  • A supportive and innovative team environment, with opportunities to develop your technical expertise in the world of water features.
