Associate Geotechnical Engineer
Client: A leading international engineering practice renowned for creative and sustainable building and city solutions.
Overview:
As an Associate Geotechnical Engineer Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and attracting top talent for our client's geotechnical engineering team. You'll work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop recruitment strategies to identify, engage, and hire exceptional candidates who will contribute to innovative ground engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and develop recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and facilitate the interview process.
- Manage candidate communications and provide timely updates throughout the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a positive candidate experience.
- Negotiate offers and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and recruitment best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the engineering or construction industry.
- Familiarity with geotechnical engineering concepts and terminology is advantageous.
- Strong sourcing and networking skills with the ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
