Associate Structural Engineer
Location: Bristol (3 days/week in-office)
Salary: £60,000–£65,000
Alexander Associates are working with a highly regarded, independent engineering design and advisory consultancy to recruit an experienced Associate Structural Engineer for their growing Bristol office.

The successful candidate will:
- Lead design teams across a diverse portfolio of building structures projects
- Deliver innovative solutions in sectors such as residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and data centres
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects, and contractors
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers
- Contribute to project planning, delivery strategy, and design reviews
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in structural engineering, with a proven track record of working on diverse projects, including commercial and residential developments
- Experience at Senior or Associate level within the structural engineering sector
- Strong technical background with knowledge of Eurocodes and UK building regulations
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software including Revit, Tekla, or similar
- Working towards or holding chartership with IStructE or ICE, demonstrating commitment to professional excellence
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach to leadership
