- Description
We are working with a Water Framework Provider looking to grow their Commissioning team with a Process Commissioning Engineer to work on their Waste water capital projects. You must have previous waste water experience within a science-based role or in Process Commissioning. Prior experience working with an end-client would be ideal but not essential.
As a wider team, you will undertake the commissioning of capital projects including software testing, wet testing as well as takeover on clean and waste water sites throughout the South West region - spanning across Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire. You will provide input from the design stage through to successful commissioning.
The majority of projects that you will be working on will involve Phosphorus Removal, including the removal of tertiary solids, capital maintenance and the construction of new process stages. There are several non-P-removal schemes that the successful Process Commissioning Engineer will work on too.
The position of Process Commissioning Engineer is varied but responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical input to the project design team.
- Attend design review meetings and HAZOPs
- Provide Process Risk Assessments for construction activities
- Undertake software FATs and SATs
- Process and mechanical reliability testing.
The ideal Process Commissioning Engineer:
- Experience implementing a wide range of waste water processes
- A theoretical understanding of operations.
- Qualified to degree level (within a relevant scientific or engineering sector)
