Description

My client is going through a large Regenration of the Town, through Residential and Commercial projects.

They need a experienced person who is currently in a Technical Manager role, who has supervised / Led small teams.

You will be brought on to develop, manage and monitor the design and build process for the Horton Heath programme ensuring all the strategic outcomes are delivered and that the project meets all legislative, regulatory and health and safety obligations as well as the excellence and quality that the Project aspires to. You will provide technical management and input in terms of design, feasibility, value engineering, planning surveys and sustainability strategy and provide a clear energy strategy in line with requirements. You will be working closely with a varied team and liaising with sub-contractors, manage the production and review of design information and details during the pre-contract and construction phase. You will ensure build is kept to legislative standards and provide regular reports and certificates at crucial stages of the developmentincluding the pre-construction stages. Through commercial and technical awareness maximise design efficiency and profitability within identified approval constraints.

Your Responsbilitis will be to design feasibility/review, value engineering, planning surveys, energy strategy, sustainability, construction techniques and other elements as required. You will be commission the Pre-Construction Stage Planning and Feasibility Reports; Arboriculture,Archaeological, Acoustic, Ecology, Fire Risk Assessment, Flood Risk Assessment, Traffic & Transport, Soil Investigation, Soakage Tests.

You will need to either be working for a local government across their regeneration of Houses or Commercial buildings or work for a house builders across muliple plots and have examples of proven design work to show the client. You will need to be in a Technical Manager role.
