Design Manager

We are seeking a skilled Design Manager to oversee a team of discipline design engineers in developing technical wastewater solutions. The role encompasses the entire project lifecycle—from initial needs assessment, through optioneering, solution development, value engineering, detailed design, and construction support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Collaboration: Guide and mentor a team of engineers to deliver effective design solutions while managing project risks and staying within budget. Foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients, design teams, construction staff, and supply chain partners to enhance buildability and efficiency.
• Sustainable Design: Ensure all design outputs are sustainable and compliant with CDM Regulations, promoting environmental responsibility in every project.
• Project Management: Oversee and agree on design budgets, monitor progress, and provide accurate cost forecasts. Manage design changes efficiently to maximize cost-effectiveness.
• Execution: Organize and document project plans, including the Design Management Plan and Project Execution Plan. Ensure the timely and budget-friendly delivery of each project's design phase.

About You:

• Proven experience in delivering technical projects within a design-build environment
• Expertise in the Wastewater Treatment industry
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing multidisciplinary design teams
• Degree in an engineering-related discipline
• Goal-oriented with the ability to set and achieve targets while motivating your team to meet time, cost, and quality objectives
