Experience in the water industry is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety Leadership: Ensure compliance with all relevant H&S legislation and regulations, managing risks and communicating them effectively.
- Team Leadership: Lead the Design team to meet project objectives, delivering quality results on time and within budget.
- Project Management: Oversee design expenditures, manage costs, and maintain a detailed Design Management Plan.
- Collaboration: Work closely with partners and stakeholders, attending key meetings and providing technical support during construction phases.
- Quality & Sustainability: Ensure technical work meets standards, focusing on sustainability and reducing the carbon footprint.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Extensive experience in multi-disciplinary design management within a design-build environment.
- Degree in an engineering-related discipline and Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).
- Strong project delivery skills, with a solid understanding of CDM Regulations and construction H&S practices.
- In-depth knowledge of water/wastewater treatment processes.
Desirable:
- Experience with global organizations, remote teams, and BIM procedures.
- APM Project Management Qualification (or working towards it).
